Looking for a way to honour the memory of a loved one? The Township of Uxbridge offers a Plaque Dedication and Donation Program on all Town Trails, as a way to commemorate them.
The plaques are 4"x5" or 5"x4" metal signs and are designed with a wood grain background, gold lettering and a gold border.

First and last name or family name can be printed on one line, followed by a short message such as:

Park staff will work with the contributor to determine a suitable and appropriate location. There are posts available on all Town Trails. Please visit our Trail System website page to view maps of some of the above-mentioned trails.
You may request a specific post, however they are subject to availability and staff will work with you to confirm the availability of the post or recommend an alternative.
As of March, 2021, some posts may have two additional plaques; plaques ordered prior to March 2021 will be grand-fathered and will only have one plaque.
Please outline specific plaque inscriptions below. Please see requirements above for recommended text for each plaque. Plaque inscriptions are recommended to be four lines and twenty (20) to twenty five (25) characters per line. The more text, the smaller the inscription will be.
Businesses/Corporate donations are encouraged however, only one business plaque will be allowed per trail. Text plaque details may require modification - approval will be sought prior to printing. The Township of Uxbridge will not be responsible for damage as a result of vandals or acts of nature. Plaques can take up to four (4) weeks for completion and each plaque has approximately a 10 year life expectancy. All funds raised through this program will be applied to the Township of Uxbridge Trails.
